The new VS-162/164 DVI Video Splitter units, available in two- and four-port models, allow users to duplicate and enhance audio and video signals from one source for output on two and four displays. Available today, the new VS-162 and VS-164 are affordably priced at $199.95 and 299.95, respectively.
For additional output, the VS-164 unit provides the capability to handle up to 64 monitors through three levels of cascading. In addition, both units boast a resolution of 1600x1200 and support the DDWG (Digital Display Working Group) standard for DVI-compliant monitors. The DDWG is an open industry group lead by Intel, Compaq, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, IBM, NEC and Silicon Image. The Digital Display Working Group is dedicated to addressing the industry's requirements for a digital connectivity specification for high-performance PCs and digital displays.
