Las Vegas, Nev.—EHM’s new heavy duty, sealed lead-acid batteries have grids made from a lead-calcium alloy that enables a battery float life of 15 to 20 years. The 6-volt, 12 A-h gel batteries, which rely on what the company says is a unique low-cost gas recombination system to convert generated gas to water, are thus suited to very long-life applications, including emergency lighting, fire and security and traffic monitoring, uninterruptible power supplies, telecommunications, and power tools.
Features include safety sealing, automatic gas pressure venting, and special separators to contain acid flow and thus allow for freedom in mounting the battery in almost any position. Voltage, capacity, and the battery seals are 100 percent tested to comply with VDE, UL, and CE safety and quality requirements under TUV ISO 9001 certifications.
The batteries, measuring 151-by-50-by-94 mm (LWH), are priced at $7 each in lots of 100 pieces. Additional information on quantity pricing and detailed battery specifications can be secured by contacting the company directly.
