Munich, GermanyInova Semiconductors has released its Multimedia Evaluation Board that features its GigaSTaR® Digital Display Link chips. The evaluation board demonstrates the integrated transfer of uncompressed HD video, audio, and USB2.0 over distances of more than 35 meters by using one standard STP Ethernet-type cable.
The set of boards is optimized to adapt to all video and display interface standards, such as DVI, LVDS, or digital RGB up to 720p/1080i (or SXGA/UXGA), as well as supporting all DDC/EDID functionality. In addition there are interfaces to S/P-DIF analog and digital audio. Through the integration of ICRON’s ExtremeUSB® technology it is possible to support e a wide variety of multimedia applications such as KVM-extension for Multimedia PCs, PVRs, home theatres or long-distance human-machine-interfacing in the industrial and medical fields.Click here for the data sheet.
