Colorado Springs, Colo. EM Microelectronic said its 32 kHz crystal oscillator combines excellent stability, high accuracy and a wide operating voltage range with low-power consumption in a small surface-mount ceramic package.
The EM1564 crystal oscillator integrates a 32.768 kHz tuning fork crystal and an advanced CMOS circuit assembled in a surface-mount package with a height of 1.2 mm. It offers high accuracy (frequency trimming in factory), excellent stability of 0.2 ppm/V and a low power consumption of typically 300 nA over the operating voltage range of 1.2 V to 5.5 V.
The crystal oscillator offers a standard temperature range of -40° to 85° C, and is available with an extended range up to 125°C. The device is lead free and RoHS compliant. Click here for more product information.
The EM1564 device's primary application is as a general-purpose crystal oscillator in digital systems including a variety of metering and automotive applications. It can also be used as a clock driver for timekeeping in networked servers and computers, data logger systems, mobile phone or GPS applications.
