Santa Ana, Calif.—Pulizzi Engineering‘s VPC2864 series of 3-phase power distribution units includes current metering on each phase to properly balance and load the system. The units facilitate 16 amps per phase power delivery.
The vertically oriented units provide 30 receptacles and can be configured with either 15-amp three-prong receptacles (NEMA 5-15R), or 20-amp "T blade" receptacles (NEMA 5-20R). The units are 70 inches tall and only 2 inches deep, with the outlets spaced over the length of the unit so that the outlets will be near the installed equipment. This arrangement reduces cable clutter and eases installation. The vertical mounting requires no rack space, allowing the units to mount in the back or side of the rack enclosure ("0U" mounting).
The VPC2864 series features a 2-digit current meter display. A three-position switch allows the installer to select the phase being monitored and to properly balance the phase current.
The VPC2864 enclosure is rugged steel with a black powder coat finish. The units are 68 inches tall without the mounting brackets and 70 inches with the brackets. Optional brackets allow mounting to virtually any rack or any location. The input power connector is the NEMA L21-20P (3-phase, 120/208 volts, 20 amps) and includes a 9 foot power cord.
Pricing for the VPC2864 series, which also includes a single-phase version (16 amps), starts at $595 each. OEM quantity discounts are available.
