Mansfield, Mass.—C&D Technologies has added 5- and 12-volt input-voltage versions to its low-power NDTS and NDTD series of (isolated) DC/DC converters. This extends the number of models to over 100.
The NDTS series provides a single output; the NDTD series offers a dual output. All devices have a 2:1 input voltage range and boast high efficiency. Maximum output power is 3 watts at +85°C without external heatsinking.
The product family now offers versions with input voltages of 5, 12, 24 and 48 volts, and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 volts. All devices have continuous short-circuit protection, 1 kVDC isolation, and utilize a flyback oscillator design with isolated feedback to give regulation over the full operating temperature range of 25 to 100 percent.
