Columbus, Ohio—Filling out the 1 to 3 kVA power space, Emerson Network Power has added a 1920 VA model to its Liebert PSI family of uninterruptible power supplies to serve mid-range computing applications. The UPS is a line-interactive, rack-mount product that takes just 2U of rack space and can be ordered network enabled from the factory with the Liebert OpenComms Web Card installed for integrated SNMP communications.
"The Liebert PSI delivers reliable cost-effective power protection for small networks and remote locations," said Tony Marrow, product manager. "This is an easy-to-configure system that provides a number of features that are typically only found in higher-end systems."
Other key features of the Liebert PowerSure PSI include
extended battery runtime—batteries can be added at any time and are user replaceable. These supplies are factory configured for ease of installation; the UPS ships fully assembled with batteries connected and charged. The supplies are also ready for worldwide plug-and-play; operating voltage is programmable for any country. The system automatically adjust the voltage window transfer settings to ensure the widest voltage window for greater reliability.
