Dallas—Texas Instruments' DCH01 family of miniature plug-in power modules delivers 1 watt at 5, 12, or 15 volts, or ±5, ±12 or ±15 volts for a variety of isolated-supply applications including data acquisition, motor control, programmable logic control, test and measurement, medical instrumentation and professional audio applications. The unregulated DC/DC converters, in a SIP-7 package measuring 20-by-8-by-10 mm, feature 3-kV isolation.
The family has a line regulation of 5 to 10 percent (depending on model) for a 10 to 100 percent load change, output and ripple from 20-35 mV p-p, and typical efficiency of 72-75 percent. These modules meet UL60950 and EN55022 Class B EMC specs.
