Ontario, Canada—Absopulse Electronics' BAP765F, for industrial and other heavy-duty applications, delivers 1500 watts from a compact, ruggedly constructed 6.3-by-11.5-by-2.4 inch chassis.
The single-output, standard versions provide 24, 36, 48, 72, 96 or 120 VDC from a nominal 125 VDC (105 to 145 VDC) input. Other input/output configurations are available upon request. Features include a combined line/load regulation of ±1 percent, dynamic response of 2 ms for a 10-50 percent load step and maximum 5 percent voltage deviation, and ripple and noise better than 1 percent of output voltage. The unit features full electronic protection and 85 percent efficiency at full load, depending on input voltage.
An optional redundancy diode is available. Other options include additional ruggedizing and conformal coating for applications requiring immunity to shock, vibration, humidity and moisture. The BAP765F is filtered to meet EN55022 Class A EMI as a minimum and is designed to meet international safety approvals including EN60950 and related UL and CSA standards.
This fan cooled converter is rated for operation over 0 to +50°C at full power without de-rating, with extended temperature ranges also available.
