MANHASSET, N.Y. Millennium Cell Inc., a provider of hydrogen battery technology, has teamed with its affiliate Gecko Energy Technologies to develop a fuel cell powered wireless camera prototype system with infrared sensing and audio capability.
The hydrogen battery integrates Millennium Cell's Hydrogen on Demand sodium borohydride fuel technology and Gecko's PowerSkin fuel cell technology. The integrated hydrogen battery demonstrates the potential for fuel cells in low power, long run-time devices.
The device will be shown alongside other solutions under development by the company's licensees at the Homeland Defense Conference sponsored by InSitech at the U.S. Army's Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County, N.J.
