Redmond, Wash. RPM Systems Corp. has launched its MPQ-AVR, a four-port, in-circuit programmer for Atmel AVR microcontrollers.
The system features on-board flash storage of program images, and offers stand-alone, PC-controlled or ATE-controller programming modes. In addition, up to 16 programmers may be interconnected to form an array, for one-step programming of up to 64 devices.
The MPQ-AVR provides both SPI and JTAG programming protocols, and supports all current-generation in-circuit programmable AVR devices. It is enclosed in an aluminum case, rugged and ready for the manufacturing environment. Pricing was not released.
MPQ-AVR is the latest addition to RPM's family of dedicated manufacturing programmers. MPQ programmers are also available for Cypress PSoC and enCoRe II microcontrollers, Silicon Labs C8051 series, and Zilog Z8-Encore! and ZNEO families.
