Sophia Antipolis, FranceOne RF Technology has introduced a low-cost, 868-MHz RF module dubbed TinyOne Lite.
The ISM band RF module is optimized for low-power radio communication at a competitive cost. TinyOne Lite is the latest addition to the company's TinyOne product family, bearing the same footprint.
TinyOne Lite occupies 38 x 21 mm of space and is about 3 mm high. It has 3 mW (5 dBm) output power, -107 dBm sensitivity and it consumes less than 2 µA on stand-by. TinyOne Lite will be available with or without an integrated antenna.
It will be delivered with an embedded in-house firmware with advanced protocol modes such as low-power mesh networking for reliable data transmission and long operating time with batteries.
A modem version of TinyOne Lite is currently under development.
