PLDA's PCIXSYSV5 PCIX prototyping platform enables engineers to evaluate and prototype high-speed interface technologies such as PCIX, DDR2-SDRAM and LVDS. Typical applications for the board are FPGA and ASIC prototyping, data-acquisition, automation and control.
The Virtex-5 LX PCIX prototyping platform includes the PLDa PCIX protocore, the full feature version of the PLDA PCIX RTL level IP controller for unlimited use on PLDA boards. Also included is a Software Design Kit (SDK) and technical support from the design team so that engineers can start PCIX design immediately.
The board can also be used in standalone mode, powered from an external source. It includes two frequency synthesizers (31.25-MHz to 700-MHz), 34-bit MICTOR probe, RS-232, and high-speed interface (20 LVDS Rx/Tx, 100 LVCMOS) on a pair of Samtec connectors, enabling daughtercard extensions.
Power can be multiplied as the PCIXSYSV5 boards are also stackable.
Pricing: The Virtex-5 LX110/330 platforms are available now, with prices starting at $7210.
Availability: Boards are available either directly from PLDA or via PLDA's worldwide distributor partners: www.plda.com/sales/distributors.php
