Tahoe Vista, Calif. Coridium Corp. has introduced a wireless ARMmite development and connectivity board that features a 32-bit processor and embedded Bluetooth and Zigbee communications protocols, packaged in a 2 x 3-inch footprint.
Connecting from the PC using a USB or wireless port, ARMmite users create code using their BASIC programs. The programming is processed at a rate of more than 10 million instructions per second, and compiled according to ARM instructions.
The ARMmite provides 12K for user code, 6K for variables and a 20K library supporting SPI, 12C, 1-Wire, and ASYNC protocols. Users download their programming to the computer board. The ARMexpress controller offers an industrial-standard form factor with 16 digital I/O, and an easy-to-use BASIC interface.
