MUNICH, Germany Despite using a plastic package, a family of standard logic devices can work in environments with temperatures of up to 175 degrees Celsius. With the products, Belgian manufacturer CISSOID aims at automotive and industrial applications.
The product CMT-74XX product family includes quad dual-input devices with NAND, AND, OR and XOR functions, a hex inverter, and a dual D flip-flop. All devices use the SOIC16W plastic package and require operating voltages between 3.3 and 5 volts.
With the offering, the company which is specialized in high-temperature logic devices intends to close the gap between standard temperature range products and its existing high-temperature product family which can be used at temperatures up to 225 degrees Celsius.
