UNIPOWER Corporation announces the AG-350PM Series of power factor corrected switch mode power supplies designed specifically for the medical systems market.
Part of the EASYMOD family, the new power supply series provides up to 350W of highly regulated output power in single, dual, triple or quad output configurations from 1.5 to 48VDC. All models in the AG-350PM Series provide continuous full power to 50ºC, can operate up to 70ºC and can deliver a peak of 380W for very brief periods. If used without forced cooling, the units will deliver up to 250W.
As standard, all models in the AG-350PM family of switch mode power supplies have on-board Class B EMI filtering, CE marking, and comply with EN61000-3-2 as well as all relevant safety standards. They are available in an 8 x 4.5 x 2 inch U-channel format.
“The medical systems market is growing fast as the medical profession looks to technology to improve its diagnostic and treatment capabilities. These AG-350PM units provide designers of medical systems with a lot of power from a small space” says Nigel Frey, UNIPOWER’s European Sales and Marketing Director. “Although they will give 350W with cooling, the use of a fan in a medical environment is not always desirable. I suspect we will see a lot of interest from customers looking for up to 250W from a convection cooled unit.” He adds.
Options available with all AG-350PM units include an isolated 4th output, many and varied output combinations, a -40ºC start up option as well as 24 and 48VDC input versions.
All UNIPOWER Corporation power products meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1, CSA22.2 No. 60950-1 and EN60950-1 and are RoHS compliant. Product can be sourced from UNIPOWER Corporation’s factories located in the U.K. and the U.S.
UNIPOWER Corporation designs and manufactures and markets switching power supplies, sine wave inverters, front ends, rectifiers, dc power systems and dc distribution products for telecoms, datacoms, network equipment, servers, data storage, industrial and medical systems.
