CAMBRIDGE, UK The PAT Series of AEC-Q200-qualified precision automotive thin film chip resistors released by Vishay Intertechnology have an ESD rating of 2kV, a TCR of ± 25 ppm/degree C, and are laser-trimmed to tolerances down to ± 0.1.
Featuring a tantalum nitride resistor film on a high-purity alumina substrate, the PAT resistors offer stable film and performance characteristics of 1000 ppm at + 70 °C for 10,000 hours.
The devices are optimized for hybrid/electronic controls, energy management, measurement, sensor scales, and stable fixed resistor applications in automotive electronics.
Offered with wraparound terminations in eight case sizes from 0402 to 2512, the PAT series offers a resistance range from 10Ohm to 3MOhm, with non-standard values available.
The resistors feature a very low noise, below -30dB, low voltage coefficients below 0.1 ppm/V, and a load-life stability of less than 0.05 percent at 1,000 hours at + 70 degree C.
Power ratings for the series range from 50 mW to 1 W, for voltage ratings ranging from 75 to 200V over an operating temperature range of - 55 to + 150 degree C.
The PAT devices are resistant to moisture at + 85 degree C, 85 percent relative humidity, and 10 percent rated power per MIL-STD-202, method 202.
Available with lead (Pb)-free or lead terminations, the resistors are compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC. The devices undergo a 100 percent visual inspection per MIL-PRF-55342.
