The platform facilitates setting up and executing complex simulations, verifications and optimization, even across different abstraction levels. The tool also provides support for process migrations, fully automatic documentation and IP reuse.
Since the introduction of M-DESIGN's major tool revision (3.0) at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) in 2009, MDA has been steadily releasing three-monthly upgrades which are offered free-of-charge to existing customers. Among the improvements for the 3.2 release are easier setup of device-level process corners, an integrated Python-based batch interface and improved results browsing capabilities. Also, the auto-documentation interface has been revised.
MDA recently joined Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) and its OpenAccess Coalition (OAC) to enhance interoperability in mixed-vendor tool flows.
