Silicon Image rolled out two products for the Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) standard: an RGB-MHL transmitter and MHL-enabled IP cores.
The SiI9232 RGB-to-MHL transmitter is designed for power-sensitive mobile devices such as mobile phones, digital cameras, portable media players, tablets, and HD camcorders. Delivering low-pin-count HD connectivity, the SiI9232 MHL transmitter can replace existing mobile device connectors.
The SiI9232 MHL-enabled transmitter key highlights:
Multiple RGB input formats
MHL-compliant output up to 1080p@24/30 Hz
HDCP 1.2 support
Pin-compatible, non-HDCP version available (SiI9236)
