NXP Semiconductors N.V. released a new generation of automotive position sensors, KMA210, which incorporates its latest magnetoresistive sensor chip and a unique signal conditioning ASIC developed using its advanced Silicon on Insulator (SOI) ABCD9 process technology.
The KMA210 is the first of a new magnetic sensor family in a full system-in-package solution that requires no external components. KMA210 is specially designed to improve the overall performance and increase robustness in automotive applications.
What a neat device! I checked out the datasheet and was wondering if there will be any pictures/diagrams showing typical use/setup? I would think that this would be most helpful for robotic sensing applications and wonder what the cost is?
KMA210 angular measurement module is ready to use precalibrated. This has a non volatile memory and user specific adjustments stored here.EMC and ESD details are given in their data sheets. Can be used at many instances apart from automotive applications.
