Yes, I have employed Vishay IHLP series inductors. It is offers very compact solution and gives quite good performance.

Looks like a good choice for a compact power supply. What is the material used for the shielding case? Does it help in transfering heat from the coil to ambient? Is there any inductor available with an auxiliary coil in the similar compact case size?
