A MIL-STD-1553/1760 mini-PCIe card for high-reliability applications provides up to two dual-redundant 1553/1760 channels. The small-form-factor BU-67114Hx card (30 mm x 50.95 mm) from Data Device Corporation (DDC) features an on-board DMA engine for low CPU utilization and comprehensive built-in self testing capability .
The card also leverages DDC’s Total-AceXtreme architecture, including an autonomous bus controller (BC) with expanded instruction set, a multi-RT (remote terminal) interface providing a wide variety of buffering options, and a 1553 bus monitor (MT) that allows users to store data in an industry standard IRIG-106 Chapter 10 format. Each channel can function in BC/MT or multi-RT/MT mode independently. The board also offers BC Disable for RT Only Applications, Tx Inhibit for MT Only Applications, and BC External Trigger/SS Flag.
