Another benefit that I found that might be present other than the reduced connectivity costs is the ability to use less material. By eliminating heavier shielded cabling, automotive manufacturers can significantly reduce the amount of material used, effectively making the car slightly more environmentally friendly. Perhaps that will be another factor that will lead to the wide spread use of this connected car ethernet portfolio. Jon -
