A new series of single-level-cell (SLC) flash products targets embedded code and data storage markets. The MX30LF family from Macronix International Co. comprises two products: MX30LF1208AA and MX30LF1G08AA, with densities of 512 Mb and 1 Gb, respectively. Both devices leverage a 75-nm floating gate technology for applications such as automotive, consumer electronics, high-end networking, and industrial PCs.
