Measurement cards for desktop PCs seem to have a lot of life left, even though the consumer world is pretty much all laptops and tablets. What might happen if/when desktop PCs are a thing of the past? Well industrial PC suppliers will still be around. Some still have legacy ports. At least the parallel port is dead.
