Intel announces Atom E6xx series of CPUs
Intel unveiled its Atom E6xx CPUs, formerly called Tunnel Creek, and announced Stellarton, a system-in-package that pairs an Altera FPGA with an Atom to enable reconfigurable systems. Read full story.
Intel sketches out 32, 22nm processors
Intel showed PCs and servers running its next architecture, the 32nm Sandy Bridge; a follow-on 22nm microprocessor family dubbed Ivy Bridge is scheduled for the second half of 2011.
