Axiomtek's NA-320FL is a fanless 1U compact network appliance platform with six Gigabit LANs. Run by Intel's low-power Atom processors D510 1.66GHz with Intel ICH8M PCH chipset, the new super-low-power network platform supports a high bandwidth DDR2 SODIMM slot with memory up to 2GB.
To prevent problems from sudden shutdown, the NA-320FL supports a LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. For extended networking application, the NA-320FL comes with a PCI Express Mini card (USB interface). The compact desktop unit features one 2.5” SATA HDD, one CompactFlash slot, a console port and two USB ports, which enhance its capability to deal with various application needs.
Designed for space-limited and harsh environments, the NA-320FL comes in a small form factor with a height of 44mm and a weight of 2.5 kg. The new platform is targeted for applications in VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway and firewall.
The NA-320FL has one 2.5” SATA hard disk drive bay and a CompactFlash card. Six Gigabit LANs, two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port and power connector are located on the rear panel. Internally, the devices include a Mini PCI expansion slot and two more USB ports. For easy maintainance, the front-facing LED indicators are available for system, power and HDD activities monitoring. It also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating system.
