N8900A InfiniiView software from Agilent Technologies allows designers to view and analyze previously captured signals from oscilloscopes manufactured by Agilent and other vendors on the PC, away from the scope and target system. Users can also document and share scope measurements with design partners via email, thumb drives, or web conferencing.
The software accommodates a display resolution of up to 1680×1200 pixels for better waveform viewing on large monitors. It supports file formats used by Infiniium and InfiniiVision oscilloscopes, as well as generic .csv, .txt, and .tsv files. Infiniiview enables opening and viewing up to eight waveforms using scope-like horizontal and vertical controls to navigate and zoom in to any event of interest. In addition, it provides access to over 60 built-in automated measurements and 20 math operators, including FFT and filters.
For debugging designs that use serial buses, InfiniiView provides optional protocol decoding for I2C; SPI; RS-232/UART; JTAG; CAN; LIN; FlexRay; USB; SAS/SATA; PCIe Gen 1, 2, and 3; MIPI D-Phy; DigRF; 8B/10B; and Ethernet 10GBase-KR (64B/6B). Separate dockable windows for time, frequency, and protocol measurements are available.
Base price for the InfiniiView application is $750. It is scheduled to release about May 24, 2012, after which users can download a free 14-day trial license at www.agilent.com/find/N8900A-trial. More Information Agilent Technologies datasheet
