RFaxis offers its RFX5000 RF Front-End Integrated Circuit (RFeICTM) to enable wireless connectivity for next-generation 802.11a/n/p wireless connectivity applications in the 5GHz band. The technology supports PCs, ultra-mobile devices, high definition multimedia streaming devices, routers/access points, as well as wireless access in vehicular environments (WAVE).
The RFX5000 RFeIC is a single-chip/single-die, integrated RF front-end on pure complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) silicon and covers the 802.11a/n/p frequency band (4.90 to 5.95 GHz). The RFX5000 RFeIC comes with a power amplifier, low noise amplifier, antenna switch, on-chip harmonic filters, power detection, matching circuitry, CMOS compatible control logic and ESD protection on all package pins.
- 30dB Tx and 12dB Rx small=signal gain
- 120mA quiescent current
- 2.7dB noise figure
- +17dBm linear output power (EVM <3%)
