Though the iphone is huge here, china could tip that scale if NFC was accepted widely. It is surprising how much of a difference there is in the market.

To me the biggest disappointment, is lack of NFC in iPhone 5S. Although other vendors already provide this feature, the mass usage of NFC payments havent taken off due to  Apple not participating.
