It's that time of year again, time to find out which test products will make our Best-in-Test list and who will be the Test Engineer of the Year. You know what that means? The Best-in-Test and Test Engineer of the Year nominations are now open. This year, we have ten product categories:
- Manufacturing Test / ATE
- Data Acquisition
- Handheld / Portable Test
- Machine Vision / Inspection
- Network Test (Wired, Wireless, Hybrid, Optical)
- Test Support: Programmable Power Supplies, Signal Generators, Etc.
- RF / MW Test
- Semiconductor Test
- Signal Integrity / High-Speed Test
- Software / Embedded Test
Products must have been released from November 2, 2012 (new start date) through October 15, 2013. All entries must be received by November 15, 2013.
After the nominations are in, we'll review them and announce the nominees for each category (maximum of six). Then it's up to you to vote for the winners in each category, the best overall test product of the year, and the Test Engineer of the Year, so remember to vote early and often. The winners will be announced at DesignCon 2014. In the photo below, I'm awarding the best overall test product award to Chris Loberg of Tektronix at DesignCon 2012. See you at DesignCon 2014.
