Been to ARM TechCON 2013 event. Indeed, lots of cool IoT devices (wearable for sports, medical help and many other needs..... home survelliance, IoT based small to big appliance devices, and many other cool stuff also....)
The key challenage and next big thing is the security and protection as IoT is growing by big fold and pretty soon our life will be controlled through this gadget.
Starting from mobile, ARM indeed goes a long way. With the fundemental requirement of IoT, low power consumption, no doubt ARM is the favorite over Intel. Development of ARM servers has been on the way for a while. Finally, it is here. No wonder Intel starts fabricating ARM.
