All of these acquisitions and mergers point to one thing: true cell and the entire range of wireless monitoring technologies are crucial as far as the future of base stations and radio towers are concerned. The monitoring system helps with all kind of analytics and is at the core of what is needed for a network to run properly.

This acquisition will indirectly push Tektronics Network Monitoring equipments sales among the Telcos, as Newfield Software is already in use with many Telcos, but all of them are not using Tektronics Network Monitoring equipments, as far as my best of knowing in my geographical area.
