These gadgets could really be a great wearbales for style and show off than any real application.

I find these items to be interesting but I'm curious if they are ever truly used beyond a proof of concept. I know a few people who have played with wearables that track activity and they generally only utilize the simplest data (steps walked, most often).

I think the key to successful use might lie more in their display or analyzation of the data after the fact.
