700 million wireless charging devices by 2018! That is in fact a huge number, and an indication of just how much opportunity there is in this particular segment.

Anyone heard of any other hybrid chips that support resonant and inductive approaches?

Is everyone going to hybrid chips? Does it make sense?

I do not see Apple's name in the list here. I am sure they are also working on evolving wireless charging for their gadgets. What kind of wireless charging technology they are into?
