Beaglebone capes work well with LCD displays and camera. Bottleneck may not be cape design or I/O timing, its may be CPU bandwidth. You can try yourself from below link..

Good to see so many options being available like the "Apps"...I would like to call these as "hardware apps" :) I liked the M2M Cape but I think for such high speed applications (Display & the radar Cape too) won't it make sense to use B2B connectors for high speed applications? I guess, for hobby projects the present headers are fine, but I won't be confident for serious projects unless somebody approves Signal Integrity for board to board signals. Did anyone check this?
