Impressex Arduino Shield Adapter
We saved the best for first: BeagleBone is arguably one of the best single-board computers on the market and with the virtually unlimited shield and cape attachments, you can understand why. There are capes for everything imaginable, from LCD screens to cameras and everything in between. There are even capes that allow users to adapt Shields from other SBC manufacturers to further expand on the BegleBone's functionality, such as the Impressex Arduino Shield Adapter.

The adapter allows for just about every Arduino Shield to be connected to the BeagleBone no matter if it runs on either 3.3 or 5V logic levels and can come equipped with a 16-pin I/O expansion header for more project options. Touch-screens, WiFi adapters, sound enhancers, and even prototype gaming boards can all be connected to the Shield, and that's just scratching the surface, as there are, literally, hundreds of Shield options that can be utilized through the board.

Beaglebone capes work well with LCD displays and camera. Bottleneck may not be cape design or I/O timing, its may be CPU bandwidth. You can try yourself from below link..

Good to see so many options being available like the "Apps"...I would like to call these as "hardware apps" :) I liked the M2M Cape but I think for such high speed applications (Display & the radar Cape too) won't it make sense to use B2B connectors for high speed applications? I guess, for hobby projects the present headers are fine, but I won't be confident for serious projects unless somebody approves Signal Integrity for board to board signals. Did anyone check this?
