It it is steel or some metal like gold it will be used as an ornament, but that type of displays are in used as on day inform of watches. I think wearable simultaniously disposable as well, should be the matter of discussion here.

Not sure use of steel body will be a positive or negative point when it comes to daily usage. Also in extreme weather conditions.

As opposed to what is mentioned in the article about the use of this kind of displays with NFC is less likely to be promoted in the current trend of the electronics as still all the mobiles phones are not being enabled with NFC, but this technology will be surely coming up with very different out of box applications of it likely to be used in the dresses and caps.
