In a past life I worked with RF engineers in the defense industry that took it as a matter of fact that RF communications would not advance significantly in terms of spectral efficiency, range, or speed. I have always suspected that they were wrong, but their argument was that they were bumping up against the physics and that there was nothing new that could be done. Most of them are retired now, and it looks like the next generation has their own ideas about what can be done. As a systems and software guy, I look forward to working with them and their work. Congratulations!

IoT will give birth to many new technologies. Its a very very big consumer market and its going to throw new challenges both to the engineers and the business groups.
