ha ha David, let us know if you win any of the prize. Too bad that the prize is only for US and Canadians.

Hi Crusty...thanks for that....I even registered on the site - so now I can expect emails from them... :-((  - but when I get the competition page up from the link above, there is nowhere to enter, and it stubbornly says I'm from Australia even if I say I'm in the states in my profile.

One thing I will give them kudos for, they asked the minimum of information to register, not asking for my grandmother's maiden name like some sites.....

Hi David, I thought that it was excluding Europe as well.

It turns out that when I logged onto their web site I got an invitation to do a questionaire and be enetered into the Sweepstake for a similar prize for Europe. Strangely there were similar exclusions in Europen countries but not UK, so I have enetered the sweepstake.

Have you looked on their web pages to see if there is an Australian version of this prize bench load of goodies?

#Andrzej11...  "... another major PITA – translating all their accompanying manuals into Australian!!"

No need, mate, most Aussies reckon instruction manuals are for wusses anyway :-)

Why no contest for Australia? That's easy! They're trying to avoid another major PITA – translating all their accompanying manuals into Australian!! :)

@Andrzej11... "The Province of Quebec is ....a major PITA to deal with"

More fool them, not wanting to win benches full of test equipment.  Still doesn't explain why they exclude Australians :-)

The Province of Quebec is routinely excluded from most contests run in North America for one reason and that is it is a major PITA to deal with all the rules and regs of la Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. See here, http://business.financialpost.com/2011/09/08/why-many-contests-exclude-quebec-residents/

Nah, you just need to practice your "surprised" face.

Of all the exhibits in the Pre-Apocalypse Era Museum, Breek was always in awe of the unearthed details and true-to-scale reproduction of a technological creation space that the long gone humans had once inhabited.
