why does the author claim PK costs too much?  obviously, it's many-bit arithmetic, but it's also true that it need only be done once per pairing.

@alex_m1:  The presenter was unclear, but I talked to one of his VCs later who said the first version of the chip is available for testing and a final commercial spin is TK shortly
