The EE Times elves have waded through all of the entries and selected the winner of the April 2016 Cartoon Caption Contest.
Well, as usual, judging the cartoon caption contest has been a difficult task because there were so many amazing entries, but the EE Times elves have finally come to an agreement between themselves.
The winning entry, by EE Times Community Member moronda was:
"Our new Fractal Orthogonal Oscillation Logic is on schedule for tapeout in April which will make us the industry leader in FOOLs."
And the runners up were as follows:
- Howman: "As you can see on our latest org chart, your subordinate, April, has been promoted president, and you are, ahem, here."
- Stargzer: "As you can see from the logic, it's easy to make a system Fool-proof, but much harder to make it Damn-Fool-proof."
- dt_hayden: "In a cross functional team meeting, marketing shows the sales plan for April to the engineering team, which clearly demonstrates there are two paths to separate a fool from his money."
- arthurdent42: "Obviously Marketing should have taken the lead in this presentation instead of Engineering."
Thanks to everyone who participated. We're sorry if you missed out this time, but happily our May 2016 Cartoon Caption Contest is awaiting your witty entries.
