Finally after the elves came back from their walk-out protesting unfair labor practices and because they were most concerned about ending the suspense for David Ashton, here is the winner of the July 2016 Cartoon Caption Contest.
As usual, judging the contest has been a grueling task full of laughter, sprayed milk, and at least one coin toss. The EE Times elves have finally decided.
The winning entry, by EE Times Community Member dt_hayden was "Little Wendy was right, there was something fishy about these measurements."
Little Wendy was right, there was something fishy about these measurements.
And the runners up were as follows:
- dt_hayden: "Only an engineer would describe his day at the beach as sitting on a silica substrate, under an optical attenuator, performing some waveform analysis."
- 2Torr: "Daddy says, "You can't spell gEEk without a double 'E' "!"
- CB_EE: "Emily understood that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, she just wished the gentlemen from ACME Inc. would acknowledge that their inspiration came from her sandbox."
- BurntSushi: "Wilson was glad he took his boss's advice to catch some Z's at the beach -- after all, it turned out to be refreshingly easy because almost everything is floating."
