As usual, judging the April 2017 cartoon caption competition was much harder than you might expect. And, as usual, the EE Times Elves did their work cheerfully, giggling over all the entries and happily ingesting some highly caffeinated drinks, as the little elves came to a consensus.
The winning entry, by EE Time Community Member seantellis, was "Edgar's manager regretted asking him for a presentation on cloud services."
Edgar's manager regretted asking him for a presentation on cloud services.
And the runners up -- in no particular order (the EE Times Elves aren't very good at "order") -- were as follows:
pabaines: "Unfortunately, Mr and Mrs Noah, the project to build your custom boat has been hit by technical issues after we moved our data to the cloud. Also, Bob forgot where he put the hippos. We won't be ready for another forty days. Will that be a problem?"
rxx12345: "The roofers will... uh... whoa! Is that Charlie's urn over there on the floor?"
rxx12345: "It's raining, it's pouring, his presentation's boring."
Tangey99: "Welcome to our rather theatrical launch of the latest industry standard API which addresses electronic control of ingress protection in harsh IOT environments.
I present to you, 'open umbrella'"
jdpmdphd: "Can we agree, that solution was all wet?"
Don Swaab: "The best way to avoid accumulator overflow is by deploying strategically-placed bit buckets."
dt_hayden: "With the executive suite just upstairs, the workers are finally able to see the trickle down theory in action."
