"a constant speed there is no acceleration. " This statement is wrong. Acceleration is there always in rotation because there is always change in direction in rotation. Acceleration is change in veloicity (not simply speed), which can be either in the magnitude (which is often called speed) or in the direction or in both. Speed is related to but different from velocity.
