Duration:60 min

Overview:
Technology has enabled the development of oscilloscope and probe systems with microwave performance. But if a probe is not designed to properly connect with minimal parasitics and good signal integrity, then all the expensive equipment downstream of the probe tip can't make up for it. This presentation will talk about the practical consideration for using probes and ways to verify and gain confidence in your high-speed probe measurements.

Who should view this webcast:
Analog validation engineers, signal integrity engineers, board validation engineers, IC/ASIC developers developing the latest high-speed interfaces.

Giveaway:
Registrants who completely fill out the feedback form by June 10, 2011 will be eligible to win one of two $75 Amazon.com gift certificates. Drawing only open to residents of the 50 United States and Canada (except Quebec). Official rules.

Presenter:
Mike McTigue, Agilent Oscilloscope Probe Architect
Mike is the R&D probe architect for Agilent's InfiniiMax family of high-bandwidth oscilloscope probes. Mike holds multiple patents on probe system topology and pioneered the versatile InfiniiMax probe head/probe amp architecture.

Hello and thank you for the nice presentation. I have a question about the HF probe system.

Is there a system to connect the Cascade probes (100um pitch etc) to Agilent HF oscopes to measure on chip time domain signals?

I appreciate if you may also email me at mfahimni@uwaterloo.ca

Thank you in advance
