Overview:
Multicore has arrived and it offers companies a way to increase performance, reduce bill of material costs and differentiate their devices from competition. But the challenges of moving from single core to multicore devices may be prohibitive and the best, most efficient and economical migration path may not always be clear.

In this Webinar you will learn:

  • How to transition from single core to multicore processors without sacrificing legacy application investments
  • How blending heterogeneous environments such as realtime operating systems (RTOS), Linux and hypervisors can be accomplished in seamless and transparent manner accelerating migration
  • How to manage software configuration, booting, error and fault handling in a multicore environment
  • Why a common interprocess communications technology across all operating systems boosts performance and simplifies programming
