Just a heads up on an upcoming audio design workshop focused on active loudspeaker design, with a major emphasis on real-world, practical problem solving.
Hosted by Prism Sound and Oxford Digital, in partnership with the Audio Engineering Society, LOUDSOFT and TTid, the workshop will take place at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, on March 25th 2013 from 14:00 to 20:00, and will be open to engineers, engineering managers, students and academics involved in audio engineering.
Attendees will meet with some of the most experienced engineers in the industry, and hear about their practical experiences in analog and digital audio design. Some of the scheduled topics include:
- LOUDSOFT will show how the loudspeaker development process can be greatly streamlined with modern CAD tools
- Oxford Digital will show how the application of DSP techniques can maximize compact loudspeaker performance for a given budget and footprint
- Prism Sound will explain how modern digital audio analysis techniques can provide far greater and more rapid insight into system performance
