Ride Along with Mario!

As you'll see, the 11 MB video runs for just 1:20, which covers almost an entire lap of the 2.5-mile road course. Do the math: that's some serious scoot. You'll also see that the ride is bumpy, but the video doesn't do it justice. Slamming around Infineon's hills and valleys in a Porsche GT3 Cup car is an E-ticket ride of the first magnitude. It'll knock your fillings loose.
Although you don't always notice it in the video, Mario is grabbing the Porsche's shifter every few seconds. What's also not evident is the noise. The Porsche's flat-six is behind you, of course, but its throaty roar comes through the stripped-out cockpit loud and clear.
The silver tube mounted near the windshield directs air into the driver's face. Even though both windows are open (removed, actually) it gets plenty hot inside that rocket. The red button with the big E sticker next to it is for activating the fire extinguisher.
The last few seconds of the video show Mario hustling the Porsche around Infineon's Turn 10 hairpin, just before the start/finish line. Those billboards are closer than they appear, rushing up at you double-quick as you brake into the tight corner. Plenty intimidating, especially when you're not driving. Enjoy.
