We have a winner for the January caption contest! The tie is now broken and our winner is .... jkdrum, who received 24% of votes with his Dangerfield-esque caption, "I’m sick of this! First Dave gets a BarcaLounger, now he is playing Golf!
Meanwhile, last month, they completely throw me to the sharks! I get no respect!"
There is still a tie for the second-favorite caption, with JOtt and eganon both receiving 19% of the votes.
I'd like to once again send out a "thank you" to the always-helpful David Ashton for jumping in to narrow the captions to our final 10% for voting.
jkdrum will receive a color print of the January cartoon with his winning caption in place. And the celebrity "Caption Captain" to narrow down the February cartoon captions will be our very own Max the Magnificent.
The March cartoon is on the site, so head on over to put your caption in place.
